Phara Farm Stallions

Phara Farm Stallions

Eclipse of the Sun, Phara Farm's sire of sires!

Our Sire of Sires ~ Eclipse ofthe Sun

Eclipse of the Sun was the result of mating our foundation mare, Sun God Heiress, to her own son, Sun God Reflection, both individuals Aarah-*Raffles bred and bearing out the excellence of this line. Aarah and *Raffles have carried on the highly-respected lines of Mesaoud and Skowronek, a blood stock favored at Crabbet Park in England. The progeny of this line proved highly valuable in breeding out to other lines, but it is when this family is bred within itself through line or inbreeding that the results are the most extraordinary. His two sons, Burgundy Sun and The Sun Prince, are Fifth Generation Phara stallions offered at stud by shipped semen.

With deep sorrow we say goodbye to Eclipse who lost his life after a valiant fight with colic. Like the solar phenomenon that is his namesake, he was rare and irreplaceable. We are truly blessed to have had three sons and one daughter at the farm at the time. His unique bloodlines, extreme type, exotic color and kind heart will go on and remain here at Phara Farm to breed on through his sons, Burgundy Sun and The Sun Prince, and his granddaughter, Sun Rose Beauty.

Burgundy Sun and The Sun Prince

Burgundy Sun and The Sun Prince are full brothers sired by Phara Farm’s ‘Sire of Sires’, Eclipse of the Sun, and out of the broodmare supreme, Rose of Fadl. Their lovely dam was the result of a carefully selected breeding of Lewisfield Sunny (Lewisfield Sun God x Farsaana) to the Straight Babson Egyptian stallion, Fadl Dan. The wisdom of this selection reflects in the quality of the three siblings (Burgundy Sun, The Sun Prince, and The Sun Heiress) and the prepotency as all three individuals are consistently producing exceptional offspring!
